I’m Matt Swain and I love marketing. (Seriously).
Marketing is about communication, getting the attention of your audience, and keeping it.

I like to help associations, non-profits, businesses and other organizations make an impact with their marketing and help tell their story. With over 10 years of digital and traditional marketing experience, I’ve held director and manager level positions, as well as freelance contractor roles to give organizations the extra push they need to take their marketing to the next level.
I’ve managed marketing departments, been the “solo-marketer” supporting large sales-driven organizations, created promotions around attendees and exhibitor focused firms, and led marketing programs from the ground up.
There’s a lot of marketing I can do.
Digital marketing – Social media strategy, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, email marketing, SEO, PPC campaigns, website creation and landing pages.
Direct Marketing – Traditional print advertising, direct mail, copy writing, newsletters, promotional materials, and sales collateral.
Public Relations – Media placement, press releases, and case studies.
Conferences & Trade-shows – Marketing campaigns focused on attendees, exhibitors, customers, sponsors and stakeholders. I’ve recently helped market to attendees and exhibitors at one of the largest trade shows and conferences in North America!
Strategy – Marketing plans, campaign analysis, vendor management and more.
But wait, there’s more. (I couldn’t resist).
Let’s see…I’ve also created and led marketing campaigns around product launches, company acquisitions, and re-branding, while leading and collaborating with marketing personnel and graphic designers. I have experience communicating and collaborating with executive level staff, customers, internal and external project stakeholders, and the target audience.
I’ve collaborated on and managed marketing strategies for healthcare consulting firms, marketing agencies, small businesses, non-profit and membership based trade associations, an international language education and translation firm, Microsoft® Partners, and other organizations who want their story to be told.
When not thinking or dreaming about marketing, I spend time helping a local youth group through teaching, social media, event planning, and, most importantly. mentoring. It’s awesome.
